I’m pleased to be the House sponsor on HB-217 — Regulatory Sandbox Program Amendments. The bill will allow businesses of all sizes, especially small business and entrepreneurs, innovate new products, technology, or businesses in an unregulated environment for a period of time. Overtime, this should help eliminate or modify burdensome regulations that can oftentimes make it very difficult, sometimes impossible, to create new products for market. Here’s a great Opinion Piece by Connor Boyack from Libertas Institute talking about the program and its benefits for the people of Utah.
